Reference on the development of small and medium business
According to statistical data of 1 July 2017, the number of registered small and medium-sized businesses is 48,652 units, an increase of 3.0% over the corresponding period of the previous year (47,224 units), and at the beginning of the year (47,013 units) by 2 ,9%.
Of these, the number of active SMEs is 36 286 units, which in comparison with the same period of the previous year increased by 3.2%.

On 1 April 2017, the number of employees in the SME amounted to 80,850 people, compared to the same period last year, the indicator fell by 4.7%.

In 2016, the share of SMEs in GRP was 13.0% (in 2015 - 13.5%, in 2014 - 12.0%).
Business Council
The Business Council, established under the akim of Kyzylorda region, operates to address issues of the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region.
The purpose of this Council is to address the development of small and medium-sized businesses, reduce administrative barriers and support investment projects implemented in the region. Since the beginning of this year one meeting of the Business Council has been held.
Expert Council
On regulatory legal acts (RLA) adopted by local executive bodies affecting the interests of SMEs, expert opinions are issued by the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs and accredited entities of private business entities. To date, 29 projects have been awarded expert opinions.
Regional Unified Roadmap
According to the Address of the Head of the State to the People of Kazakhstan from  31 January 2017, "The Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness" in order to develop mass entrepreneurship and provide jobs to unemployed citizens, the Regional Unified Roadmap was developed in March this year.
The purpose of the Roadmap is to unite and effectively use the Government and regional programs, as well as ensure the availability of funds for citizens of rural settlements within the program.
In accordance with the Regional Unified Roadmap, 18 business plans were developed by the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs (hairdresser, bakery, kindergartens, baths, grocery stores, shoe repair, sewing workshop, maintenance center, confectionery production , souvenir products, workshop, printing services, plant growing, cattle breeding, poultry farming, bee farming, fishing and drying) for business entities of the city and rural areas x settlements.
In addition, the Roadmap has developed step-by-step actions to ensure the availability of microcredits for business entities in the framework of state and regional programs, as well as mechanisms for obtaining government support measures.
At the same time, according to the developed road map, in the city and in each district of the region, the delegation of the secretary of the regional maslikhat (including deputies), the First Deputy Regional Branch of the “Nur Otan” party, the interested state bodies, organizations and associations exit meetings in the form of an asset for the development of mass entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurs Service Center
Since 2017, under the Management of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of Kyzylorda region, the Entrepreneurs Service Center has been functioning.
The main task of the ESC is to provide services to entrepreneurs on the principle of "one window" in the region, including the provision of services to entrepreneurs to obtain permits, provide advice on participation in state and regional programs.
As of July 21, 2017, the ESC provided 773 services in various areas, including 643 consulting services, and 130 entrepreneurs received services to obtain permits, including obtaining technical specifications and changing the purpose of land.
