Statistical information of management for religions (01.01.2014)

Number of inhabitants of Kyzylorda oblast make 726,8 thousand people, form them number of the economic active makes 351,9. Ethnic structure in oblast make more than 70 nations.

Today in oblast in structure of 6 faiths 154 religious associations are registered, from them 12 legal entities, and also 142 branches. From them: the Islamic direction-141, 1 - orthodox church, 3 - evangelical Christians baptists, 2 Presbyterians, 6 - Pentecostals and 1 - the Christian community of witnesses of Jehovah.

And as, with the purpose to determine opinions among inhabitants of oblast on the interfaith relation in December, 2013 questioning was carried out, 85,8 percent of participants in questioning answered that a religious condition of the region "not aggravated", "favorable".
