On the activities of the Regional Commission
for the prevention and liquidation of natural and man-made disasters
The regional commission for the prevention and liquidation of natural and man-made disasters is a consultative and advisory body and was established to develop proposals for the prevention and elimination of natural and man-made emergencies and coordination in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergencies of the activities of local executive bodies, territorial subdivisions of central executive bodies, enterprises and organizations, and that as well as public associations. The commission was established by the resolution of the akimat of Kyzylorda region on 21 October, 2013 "On the establishment of the regional commission for the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations."
The akim of the region is the chairman of the Commission. Deputy chairmen of the Commission are the head of the Emergency Situations Department of Kyzylorda region and the deputy akim of the region, who supervises the issues of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations.
The composition of the Commission is formed of representatives of local executive and representative bodies, enterprises and organizations, as well as public associations.
Meetings of the Commission are held as required, but not less than 1 (one) time in a quarter. Decisions of the Commission are formalized by protocols.
The Commission in its work is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan of August 30, 1995, the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 11, 2014 "On Civil Protection", dated January 23, 2001 "On Local Self-Government and Management in the Republic of Kazakhstan", dated June 13, 2013 " On introducing amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issues of delineation of powers between government bodies "by this provision and other normative legal acts.
The main task of the commission is to form a system of legal, economic, organizational, technical and other measures in the field of natural and man-made emergency situations.
