G. Amreyev was born in 1970. He graduated from Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics and the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University.
He began his career as manager of the Kyzmet joint-stock company.
In 2001-2011 he held senior management positions in the Ministry of Economy and Trade, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as well as in the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2012 to 2016 - director of the Department of Innovation Policy of “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC, deputy akim of Kyzylorda region.
His previous position was akim of Zhanakorgan district.
